7 days desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech Itinerary

1 Day: Pick up from Tangier to Chefchaouen

We are met by our guide at the port of Tanger Airport at the scheduled hour, and we go to Chefchaouen, also known as Chaouen, which is situated in an intercontinental natural park that has been designated a biosphere nature reserve. The town, perched on a white-and-blue-painted mountain, is home to a smart, compassionate, and courteous populace as well as stunning urban scenery, exquisite examples of regional handicrafts, and a tranquility that is hard to come by in today’s world. Dinner and lodging in the Riad.

2 Day: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Moulay Idriss – Fez

On the second day of our seven-day desert journey from Tangier to Marrakech, we will depart from the opulent Chefchaouen and go to Fez, the first imperial city and home to one of the oldest colleges in the world. We will stop at the remarkably well-preserved Roman remains at Volubilis along the route.
We may also take in a broad view of the holy city of Moulay Idriss, where we will have lunch. Later in the afternoon, we will arrive in Fez, where we can explore the walls and doors of its medina and have a welcome tea from the Riad’s Terrace as the sun sets.
Dinner and lodging in the Riad

3 Day: Visit of Fez – Ifrane – Middle Atlas – Cedar Forest – Midelt

Following a sumptuous breakfast in the Riad, we will begin our guided tour of the medina, which has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Its winding alleyways were designed by guilds of potters and dyers.
Not far from Fez, we will travel through a large cedar forest to observe how the monks live in freedom, as well as pass the Middle Atlas Mountains and visit Ifrane, in Switzerland of Morocco.
Prior to arriving to the Middle Atlas cedar trees. Accommodations and dinner in Midelt.

4 Day: Midelt – Sahara desert Merzouga Dunes

On the fourth day of our seven-day desert excursion from Tangier to Marrakech, we swiftly travel into the Great South as our route climbs the High Atlas. The terrain turns crimson and has striking karst structures, deep valleys like the Ziz Valley, and expansive green areas smack dab in the middle of the desert. We are at the entrance of the desert, where we will start to see mud buildings, palm trees, and some far-off kasbahs.
When we arrive at the magnificent Merzouga Desert fine sand dunes, we will swap the car for a camel for additional animal traction.
In the desert, the camel will wait patiently for you and bring you to the tent where you will spend a wonderful night beneath the stars as you watch the stunning sunset on the massive dunes, and stars play traditional music all the night around the fire and dancing with nomads.

5 Day: Merzouga Desert – Rissani Souk – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Following a hearty breakfast, we must bid farewell to the desert and head to Rissani, where—should fortune favor us—we will have the opportunity to visit your souk (which has existed since the French colonization of Morocco on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Sundays). Many of the individuals are from neighboring towns, such as those in the desert, and they purchase a variety of items, including fruits, vegetables, clothing, and shoes.
We shall reach the Todra Gorges, one of the High Atlas’s strongest locations, in two hours. The Todra River’s channel has created a canyon with massive, incredibly beautiful vertical cliffs; it is a climber’s heaven and a special location. To fully observe and appreciate the Gorges, it would be best to have lunch on the spot and take a half-hour stroll. We will go to the Dades Valley in the afternoon, which is also referred to as the Fig Valley because to the large number of fig trees that grow there. Spending the evening in Death Valley, as well as meals.

6 Day: Dades Valley – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakesh.

We may take in one of the nicest vistas in Dades Valley after breakfast. We’ll carry it out from one of the mountains’ most advantageous locations.
From there, we can enjoy and explore the vast expanse of Kasbah. The name, however, comes from the native Amazigh language, Tamazight. After making a few stops to take in the magnificent palm groves and rose valley of Skoura, we eventually arrive at Ouarzazat, which means “city without noise,” and visit the movie studio. This city is well-known for its pleasant weather and quiet surroundings and is frequented by many international celebrities.
Visit the Ait ben Haddou Kasbah as well. UNESCO designated it a World Heritage Site in 1987, and it has served as the backdrop for a number of well-known motion pictures. As an illustration, consider -gladiator (2000) -Arabic Lustrance (1962) -Sahara (2005) After lunch in the hamlet, we will travel back to Marrakech in the afternoon, over the Tizi Ntichka mountain pass, home of the massive Atlas Mountains, where we will pause for stunning views and photos.
Get to Marrakech at 6:00 p.m. On the second to final day of a seven-day desert excursion from Tangier to Marrakech, we had dinner at this riad.
