Our three-day vacation from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert’s highlights include the camel rides at dusk and spending the entire night in your desert tent beneath the stars.
You will drive in a contemporary, air-conditioned car 4×4 or minibus from Marrakech to Merzouga in the southeast of Morocco on this thrilling 3-day desert adventure.
At eight in the morning, our guide will come to get you from your Marrakech hotel and lead you to our starting location. After passing over the Atlas Mountains, we will descend to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.
This fortified city contains six kasbahs, but this one is particularly lovely. You will get the impression that you have gone back in time to the era of gladiators, nomadic desert dwellers, and historic marketplaces.
After the guided tour on this first day, we will have dinner in the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.
On our first day of a three-day journey from Marrakech to the Merzouga desert, Ouarzazate will be our second stop. We’ll take in the scenery of a city that has served as the backdrop for several box office successes.
Known as “The Entrance to the Desert,” this city has served as the shooting location for movies such as Lawrence of Arabia and The Mummy.
We may have a coffee in this city before heading off on excursions in the Dades Valley. Once there, you may unwind in a room with a shower at a private guest house in Dades and savor the flavors of a Moroccan meal.

After a filling breakfast at our guest home on the second day of our three-day desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, we will head to the Todra Gorge.
The breathtaking vistas of the Todra Gorge will put you in a state of shock and leave you wondering why it is not regarded as one of the wonders of the world. We will go to Merzouga after lunch and spend the night in a desert camp.
Merzouga is situated deep into the desert. We will climb our camels here, traverse the Erg Chebbi Dunes, and spend the night in a Berber tent in the desert.
You will have supper and breakfast at the desert camp before finishing our three-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert on the last day.
The camels will bring us back to Merzouga Erg Chebbi on the third day of our three-day desert journey from Marrakech to Merzouga. From there, we will travel via the Draa Valley and stop to take in the views at Rissani. Here, photographs of the Moroccan doors, palaces, and temples are worthy of being taken.
Towards the end of our trip, we will go to Tamnougalt, Nqob, and then return to the well-known city of Ouarzazate.
Before we continue our journey back to Marrakech via the Atlas Mountains, you are welcome to dine at any restaurant.
