day 1 Fes to Merzouga

We’ll start early from your lodging and make our way across the stunning Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping first in Ifrane, which is known as “Little Switzerland” because of its distinctive alpine architecture and temperate environment. Enjoy the calm environment by taking a stroll along its immaculate streets. As we go, we pass through cedar woods and gorgeous valleys as we travel through the Middle Atlas’ breathtaking scenery. Be mindful of the presence of Barbary macaques in the vicinity. The view will change as we get closer to the breathtaking Merzouga Desert, whose undulating dunes appear to go forever.

As soon as you arrive at Merzouga, the golden splendor of the desert will enthrall you. As the sun sets and brilliant hues fill the sky, start off on a two-hour camel ride into the center of the dunes. When you arrive at our opulent desert camp, you’ll be greeted with friendly service, have a traditional Moroccan supper, and take in the allure of the starry desert night with Berber music and starry skies.

day 2 Offroad Discovery Tour + Tea with Nomads

Our friendly crew will wake you up at dawn upon your request so you don’t miss the breathtaking view of the desert sunrise. Admire in wonder how the vivid hues of the sand provide a striking contrast with the dunes, creating an amazing shadow palette. After this wonderful experience, you’ll have breakfast. After breakfast, take some time to rest and decompress before going on an exciting 4WD off-road excursion that will give you a close-up look at the desert. Start by getting to know desert nomads in their traditional tents and engaging with them to learn more about their distinctive way of life. After that, traverse the stony desert’s high plateau while taking in expansive vistas of the dunes and other desert topographies.

Traveling here will take you to the enigmatic “Ghost Town” of Mifis, an abandoned mining community where old eye makeup like quartz and Kohl was once dug up. Fascinating fossils of turtles, trilobites, ammonites, and orthoclase—remains of the animals that lived in this ancient sea millions of years ago—can also be seen here. Explore everything from music to geology as you go to Khamlia Village, a place full of Berbers with deeper skin tones. Take in the distinctive sounds of Gnawa music, played by locals who are descended from former slaves who traveled the Salt Route to move to Morocco from Senegal and Sudan.

Savor a delicious handcrafted Berber pizza for lunch and take in a live performance of Gnawa spiritual music. You will now arrive to Merzouga, an oasis where you may stroll around the communal gardens and stop by the traveling depository. For the overnight stay, we take a car to the Riad.

Day 3 Merzouga Desert – Todgha Gorge – Dades Valley

See the breathtaking dawn over the sand dunes. Observe how the sun’s golden rays color the sky with vivid hues and bathe the huge desert in a cozy warmth. We’ll head to Todgha Gorge, which is renowned for its glistening river and high canyon walls, after breakfast. Wander along the slender canyon and take in the awe-inspiring beauty and vastness of the surroundings.

We travel on to Dades Valley, a breathtaking place with gorgeous rock formations, lush oasis, and charming towns. Savor the expansive vistas of the valley and its intriguing geological structures, including the Dades Gorges and the Monkey Fingers, as we travel the picturesque path. We’ll make a halt at Dades Valley to spend the night in a real riad.

Day 4 Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Our tour starts at the famous Atlas Studio after breakfast, where you may enter the movie business and receive a behind-the-scenes peek. Experience the magic of filmmaking by learning about the sets and props utilized in well-known motion pictures and television series.

We will next go to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a walled town that has been the setting for many TV shows and movies, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Admire the elaborate mud-brick construction and meander along the winding lanes.

We’re going to keep going till we reach the ancient Telouet Kasbah. Take in the splendor and luxury of this former palace, which exemplifies the rich architectural history of the area.

Explore its exquisitely carved ceilings, vivid tile work, and exquisitely furnished chambers to learn more about the area’s intriguing past.

The journey to Marrakech continues via the High Atlas Mountains, with views of traditional Berber buildings and terraced farms perched atop the mountainsides as the route meanders through charming communities. The lush green valleys peppered with apple and walnut orchards offer a welcome diversion from the parched surroundings of the desert areas.

Day 5 Guided visit of Marrakech

Following breakfast, we will embark on a comprehensive tour of Marrakech with our local guide, revealing the cultural riches and hidden beauties of the red city. Our tour of the UNESCO-listed Medina, a labyrinth of winding lanes teeming with vibrant markets, traditional riads, and architectural marvels, will be guided by an informed local guide.

Discover the vibrant atmosphere of the busy Djemaa el-Fna plaza as we go around it. People are being captivated by street performers, storytellers, and snake charmers. Explore the Bahia Palace’s exquisite beauty, which is reflected in its elaborate tilework and gorgeous courtyards that evoke the grandeur of Moroccan architecture.

Wander throughout the colorful souks and fragrant spice markets, where talented craftspeople sell everything from pottery and traditional linens to leather products. As you appreciate the vivid colors, complex patterns, and superb craftsmanship, stimulate your senses. You will then have some free time before spending the night in Marrakech.

Day 6 Marrakech – Essaouira

We will go through the Argan forest on our way from Marrakech to Essaouira after breakfast. You will have a free day to explore Essaouira’s seaside breezes. Windsurfers flock to the city in large numbers from April to November. Essaouira is well-known for its boutique stores, art galleries, and walled medina. Additionally, you can see the port’s historic boats and fishing nets, which add to the atmosphere. The city boasts a multicultural population. The night will be spent at Essaouira.

Day 7 Essaouira – Casablanca

We will depart Essaouira on this last day of your Moroccan tour and head back to the vibrant metropolis of Casablanca. We will then travel up the coastline through sleepy coastal towns to El Jadida, where we may see the fortress and get a glimpse of the subterranean cistern. Spend the night in Casablanca

Day 8 Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah – Tangier

We start our trip with a visit to Casablanca’s magnificent Hassan II Mosque, an architectural wonder that honors the nation’s Islamic past. We’ll next travel on to Rabat, where you can see the iconic Hassan Tower, which provides an insight into Morocco’s illustrious history. Before we go on a walking tour of Asilah, explore the wonderful Oudaya Kasbah, with its quaint streets and gorgeous vistas. Explore the town’s thriving art scene, which is decorated with eye-catching murals and a hippie vibe. We will eventually arrive at Tangier, where we will spend the night.

Day 9 Tangier – Chefchaouen

After some free time in Tangier Medina, we travel to Cap Spartel and the Hercules Caves. The last destination is Chefchaouen, with its ancient town’s blue-washed structures. Place Outa el Hammam’s shaded main plaza is called the red-walled Kasbah, and surrounding attractions include the octagonal minaret, the Ethnographic Museum, and a castle and prison from the fifteenth century. Rest day and spend the night in Chefchaouen.

Day 10 Excursion to Akchour waterfalls

We’re going on an excursion to Akchour Waterfalls today, which is renowned for its breathtaking scenery and gushing waterfalls. The captivating views and sounds of the tumbling waterfalls will enthrall you as we travel along picturesque routes surrounded by verdant foliage and challenging terrain. Enjoy the cool mist on your face while admiring the strength and splendor of the natural world. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the surroundings, the calming sound of the running river, and the crisp mountain air. Throughout the journey, there will be moments to unwind and take in the calm surroundings.

Swim in the glistening pools below the waterfalls, or locate a quiet area to rest and take in the surrounding natural beauties. Our experienced guide will be available to share information on the local flora, wildlife, and cultural significance of the area. We will spend the night driving back to Chefchaouen.

Day 11 Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

We’ll continue traveling across the center of Morocco to see the stunning Roman remains at Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take a stroll around the beautifully conserved mosaics and take in the magnificence of Roman architecture.

We’ll then go to Meknes, a former imperial city with opulent palaces, imposing gates, and expansive gardens. Discover the complex beauty of the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, explore the medieval medina, and stop at the striking Bab Mansour gate.
