Begin your 4-day journey from Fes to Marrakech after breakfast, meeting your driver near your accommodation. Traverse the Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane with its iconic Lion Stone, and stop in Azrou forest to see wild monkeys. Continue to Midelt for lunch amid apple orchards and cultural sights.
Afternoon drives offer panoramic mountain views, photo stops at Errachidia, and arrival at Merzouga desert. Ride camels over dunes at sunset, then enjoy Berber music and a starlit night at camp.
After sunrise, we explore nomadic life and visit a village known for its Gnaoua music. Passing scenic Merzouga villages and a tranquil lake, we experience Berber culture before returning to camp for another starlit night.
After sunrise at camp, we depart for Boumalne Dades. We stop in Rissani to explore its vibrant souk and taste local specialties like Madfouna. Continuing through the Ziz Valley and Tinghir, we admire the dramatic Todra Gorge. Our day ends in Boumalne Dades, where our riad overlooks the lush Dades Valley.
On our final day from Fes to Marrakech, we explore mountain villages before visiting Ouarzazate, famous for its film studios. We then tour the UNESCO site Ait Ben Haddou kasbah before crossing the Atlas Mountains, arriving in Marrakech that afternoon.
