On this 3-day adventure, you’ll travel by air-conditioned 4×4 from Marrakech to Merzouga.
Leaving at 8 AM, you’ll cross the Atlas Mountains to reach the stunning Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. This ancient fortified city feels like a step back in time. After a guided tour, you’ll have dinner there.
Next, you’ll visit Ouarzazate, known as The Gateway to the Desert and a famous film location for movies like Lawrence of Arabia .
Finally, you’ll continue to the Dades Valley, where you’ll relax and enjoy a Moroccan meal at your private guest house.
After breakfast on day two, we depart for the stunning Todra Gorge. You’ll have time to marvel at its towering cliffs before continuing to Merzouga. In the afternoon, we mount camels and trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes to a Berber desert camp, where we spend the night under the stars. Dinner and breakfast are included at the camp.
On day three, we ride camels back from the Erg Chebbi dunes to Merzouga. We then travel through the Draa Valley, stopping to photograph the stunning doors and architecture in Rissani. Our route continues via Tamnougalt and N’Kob to Ouarzazate. After a dinner stop, we cross the Atlas Mountains, arriving back in Marrakech around 8:00 pm, marking the end of your desert tour.
